About iRoll Tech
We operate an app-based electric scooter rental service. This internship is hands-on and project-based. You’ll work with real ride data and help execute initiatives that improve operations, customer experience, and growth.
What you’ll do
Optimize operations: Use ride/location data to improve deployment, rebalancing, and parking compliance.
Hands-on maintenance: Perform basic scooter maintenance and repairs (e.g., fixing scooters, changing tires, and replacing common parts) to keep fleet availability high.
Improve rider experience: Review support tickets and rider feedback to reduce repeat issues and improve satisfaction.
Build better systems: Document, refine, and implement SOPs that reduce downtime and speed up response times.
Run growth tests: Plan and execute experiments (incentives, branding tests, new hub locations) and report results.
Support partnerships: Assist outreach and coordination with local businesses/property owners to secure and improve parking hubs.
Who you are
Enrolled in a post-secondary program (business, operations, marketing, analytics, engineering, or related)
Strong execution and communication — you follow through and keep people in the loop
Comfortable with Google Sheets/Excel and basic analysis
Comfortable working in a mixed role: hands-on field work and office/admin work (support emails, outreach, growth tasks)
Self-motivated and disciplined — you can manage your time and hit agreed deadlines in a flexible environment
Valid driver’s license required (this role involves driving for field operations and site visits)
What success looks like
Higher fleet availability and lower downtime, backed by weekly metrics and clear operational improvements
Fewer repeat customer issues with faster, more consistent resolution (and documented fixes)
Growth experiments completed end-to-end with results, learnings, and a clear recommendation on what to scale next
New partnerships created or advanced (parking hubs, local collaborations, property-owner agreements) with tracked outcomes
