About iRoll Tech

We operate an app-based electric scooter rental service. This internship is hands-on and project-based. You’ll work with real ride data and help execute initiatives that improve operations, customer experience, and growth.

What you’ll do

  • Optimize operations: Use ride/location data to improve deployment, rebalancing, and parking compliance.

  • Hands-on maintenance: Perform basic scooter maintenance and repairs (e.g., fixing scooters, changing tires, and replacing common parts) to keep fleet availability high.

  • Improve rider experience: Review support tickets and rider feedback to reduce repeat issues and improve satisfaction.

  • Build better systems: Document, refine, and implement SOPs that reduce downtime and speed up response times.

  • Run growth tests: Plan and execute experiments (incentives, branding tests, new hub locations) and report results.

  • Support partnerships: Assist outreach and coordination with local businesses/property owners to secure and improve parking hubs.

Who you are

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary program (business, operations, marketing, analytics, engineering, or related)

  • Strong execution and communication — you follow through and keep people in the loop

  • Comfortable with Google Sheets/Excel and basic analysis

  • Comfortable working in a mixed role: hands-on field work and office/admin work (support emails, outreach, growth tasks)

  • Self-motivated and disciplined — you can manage your time and hit agreed deadlines in a flexible environment

  • Valid driver’s license required (this role involves driving for field operations and site visits)

What success looks like

  • Higher fleet availability and lower downtime, backed by weekly metrics and clear operational improvements

  • Fewer repeat customer issues with faster, more consistent resolution (and documented fixes)

  • Growth experiments completed end-to-end with results, learnings, and a clear recommendation on what to scale next

  • New partnerships created or advanced (parking hubs, local collaborations, property-owner agreements) with tracked outcomes
