How an iRoll ride works

Find a scooter, start the ride, park clear of the sidewalk, and end the trip in the iRoll app in Moncton, Dieppe, and Riverview.

An iRoll trip in Moncton, Dieppe, or Riverview starts in the app and ends when you park the scooter and send a photo. Use this as a short checklist. The riding instructions page is the reference for how the scooter itself works, and the wallet page is where pricing and passes live.

Before you unlock

Download the iRoll app for iOS or Android and create an account. Read the riding instructions, check the service zones, and review pricing before you start. Wear a helmet, stay off sidewalks, and yield to pedestrians.

Find a scooter

Open the map and locate a scooter near you, or scan the QR code on the handlebar. You can also tap the scooter in the app to start the ride.

Start, slow down, and stop

Push the scooter forward to release the kickstand. Stand on it and push off to at least 5 km/h, then press the GO button with your right thumb to accelerate. Squeeze the brake lever to slow down or stop. The app also has a pause control if you need to step away without ending the trip.

Park and finish

Put the kickstand down and pull the scooter backward so it stays in place. Park away from the sidewalk, next to a bike rack when you can. Do not block pedestrians, cyclists, or traffic. In the app, tap End ride and submit a photo of the parked scooter.
